[page 7] On Wednesday, July 17, 1960, Robert R. Pattrick, long-time member of the Baker Street Irregulars and the Los Angeles Science Fantasy Society, and collector of fantasy, died of a heart attack. Bob was greatly interested in _The Lord of the Rings_, and the founding of the Fellowship. The staff of I PALANTIR join his many other friends in extending our sympathy to his family. We have lost a friend, and a great Fantast.
